The chassis of the 912 differed little from that of the 911, yet the handling was more docile or the tendency to oversteer was less than on the first 911s because the car was less rear-heavy with the four-cylinder engine. Porsche offered the 912 for a total of four years. 1965-1969
This white 1968 Porsche 912 for sale here is matching numbers, has been in the same family since 1981. There are a few rust spots (inside the trunk and under the battery tray) but the pans are good. This car was equipped with the factory a/c, but the compressor is missing. It is all original except for the Webber carburetors that replaced the original Solex units.
